Macintosh OSX / Microsoft IE compatibility problem

Pages at themargins.net download reliably in all standard OS / browser combinations but Macintosh OSX+ running Microsoft Internet Explorer. With this combination pages are viewable, but often require 15 to 20 seconds to load.

Part of the trouble is that OSX and IE are not a stable combination in the first place, and that IE on any OS is a tired program. May I suggest on OSX
